A “fork in the road” is a metaphor for a crucial choice, a deciding moment, or a turning point in life. There’s a choice between two options. Once a choice has been made, it is extremely difficult or impossible to reverse.
This December, the entire world is facing a proverbial “fork in the road” without many people knowing it. Mankind has come to a point of decision where each person must choose between two options or paths. Choose this day life or death. Choose this day blessings or curses. Choose to be part of the sheep or part of the goats. Choose to be among the company of the wheat or the tares.
This choice culminates on 25 December 2024, which is both Christmas Day as well as the first night of Hanukkah. This year everyone will choose between Christmas and Hanukkah. Everyone. Know that no lukewarm decision will be allowed where a person believes that they can do both. “So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:16).
Historically, Hanukkah is all about overthrowing a polluted sacrificial service instituted in God’s Temple that centers around sun god worship, which is essentially Christmas. Did you know Yeshua attaches a prophetic significance to Hanukkah – The Feast of Dedication – by telling us that the first Abomination of Desolation is a prophetic foreshadow of an even greater abomination that confronts believers in the last days? Did you know that Yeshua came to Jerusalem during the Feast of Dedication (at the risk of His own life) to meet with believers in Solomon’s Porch and to perform the miracle that proved He is the Messiah? The Antichrist celebrates Christmas and Yeshua celebrates Hanukah, as clearly seen in John 10:22-23.
Choose this day whom you will worship and serve. Choose wisely, because it’s time for God’s judgments for the idolatry and adultery of Christmas.
“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. 17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them” (Deuteronomy 30:15-20).
