Sundown marks the beginning of the Biblical Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah).
The Feast of Trumpets became known by most of the sons and daughters of Jacob as Rosh Ha Shana due to Babylonian practices. Before the Lord aligned this feast to His Biblical plumbline for my family, we also celebrated Rosh HaShana. One of the traditions associated with the first day of the seventh month is the nibbling on wedges of apples dipped in honey hoping for a sweet coming year. In fact, we proclaimed “May your new year be sweet.” I truly enjoyed that sweet little tradition and have been thinking about it fondly this year. I believe that the Holy Spirit is leading my family to redeem this by using pears instead of apples, which represents the Bride of the Messiah. As we dip pear slices in honey, I see us proclaiming: “May your judgments be sweet” because Messiah Yeshua’s righteous judgments are sweet, for they allow us to enter the Door of Life. Refer to https://sapphirethroneministries.wordpress.com/2020/09/20/embracing-righteous-judgments/.
The Ascension in Christ group that I belong to “Mystic Mentoring” (www.mysticmentoring.com) entered the Feast of Trumpets at the dawn of the new day due to one of our members living in New Zealand. We saw the Bridal Body of Christ bowing deeply and humbly to our Beloved Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). A call went out throughout the entire earth, which is connected to the call of repentance during the Days of Awe. It’s a call to pray for the nations.
We hear: “The Great Reaping” and understand that God’s new wine and the grapes of wrath are happening at the same time. Behold, the kindness and severity of God (Rom. 11:22). The Most High God’s judgment comes through His glory… His Presence (Psa. 97). Our Beloved Messiah is imparting wisdom, so His Bridal Company can righteously rule in Christ positioned in Him. When we are in the correct position, it brings Him great honor. This is hearing, understanding, and doing the perfect will of the Father no matter what.
Yeshua is calling all His faithful ones together at a specific time – Yom Teruah – at a particular place (spiritual aligned to His plumbline Word of God) to be married. Yeshua is calling those who know Him and those who don’t (yet) to turn from their wicked ways. The end-time saints who hear His voice and keep His commandments are doing the perfect will of the Father and are honored by the King.
Come into the King’s Bridal Garden where His righteous judgments are sweet. Even though, “The Great Day of the Lord” will be incredibly tough, remember the good coming out of it: wickedness being done away with, saints humbly themselves and becoming purified, etc. Remember to keep your eyes focused on Yeshua. The cleansing is going to be messy. It will look worse before it looks better. He is sharing these things with us, so we won’t be surprised.
So, on this most auspicious occasion of the celebration of the Lord’s Feast of Trumpets may your judgments be sweet! L’chaim! (To life!)
