SHAVUOT SABBATH

Updated: Jul 22, 2020

Behold, a new shift in Shavuot (Pentecost). Behold, on this 3,333 Shavuot the world is witnessing a greater fulfillment of the bridal three as one: The Word of God (Messiah Yeshua), the Holy Sprit and the Bride of the Messiah (Christ). The Spirit and the Bride are perfectly coming together as ONE with the Word of God.

The Word of God reveals that the first thing called holy is His Seventh Day Sabbath: “By the seventh day God completed His work that He had done, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work that He had done. God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because on it He abstained from all His work…” (Genesis 2:2-3 Tanach). To be sanctified means to be set apart to a sacred purpose, to be free from sin, and to make productive of holiness. My Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary 10th Edition, also defines “holy” as being whole, exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness as well as venerated as or as if sacred.

“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath from doing your pleasure ON MY HOLY DAY, AND CALL THE SABBATH A DELIGHT, THE HOLY DAY OF THE LORD HONORABLE, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, not finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words. Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the LORD has spoken” (Isaiah 58:13-14 NKJV).

What is the heritage of Jacob anyway? I always seem to gravitate toward Psalms 24. Notice how the highest hill and His holy place is mentioned: “Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah” (Psalms 24:3-6 NKJV).

Shavuot is especially connected to the Seventh Day Transfiguration of Man due to Enoch. Recall that the man who “walked with God; and he was not for God took him” (Genesis 5:24) was born on the sixth of Sivan and he was taken up to heaven that very day. The sixth of Sivan is also the beginning of Shavuot (Pentecost) on the Hebrew/Biblical Calendar. We are currently standing in the place of “after six days” or the Seventh Day since the days of Adam. There was 2000 years between Adam and Abraham, 2000 years between Abraham and Yeshua (Jesus), and approximately 2000 years between Yeshua and the year 2000, which means we are standing in the place of “after six days.”

“And AFTER SIX DAYS Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up a high mountain apart, and was TRANSFIGURED before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light” (Matthew 17:1-2). The transfiguration of the Son of Man in Matthew 17 is simply a foreshadow for those who will literally become what they behold – a perfect reflection of Yeshua: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, WHEN HE SHALL APPEAR, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS. And every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.” (1 John 3:2-3). This not only requires that His people are able to see, hear and perceive from an elevated position, but we must also purify ourselves as He is pure.

It is significant that we are each a tri-parte being on earth – body, soul and spirit – on this 3,333 Shavuot. When we accept the gift of salvation by grace through faith, our spirit becomes seated in the heavenlies at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 2:6-10). We still live in earthly circumstances in our souls and our bodies; therefore, we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling in our soul and body. The good news in this hour is that our position in the heavenly realm, (that’s a free gift from God that has nothing to do with works) is quickly becoming our condition in the earth, as we surrender to His will and ways.

One cannot avoid the holiness of the Seventh Day Sabbath when one presses onward into the high calling of the Seventh Day Transfiguration of Man; because Yeshua Himself is our Sabbath Rest. If we want to enter His glorious rest, as the forerunner Enoch did, we must enter into the same rest that He did: “Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made” (Genesis 2:3 NASB).

Notice that when Yeshua ascended the “high mountain apart” that He took with Him the three disciples that were closest to Him: Peter, James and John. The perfectly pure light of the Seventh Day Transfiguration of Man is being offered to whosoever will… those who choose to forsake all, but Him… to be close and intimate. Let’s rest in His fire and become like Him!

Shabbat Shavuot Shalom!

Give em heaven!!!
