The Biblical Feast of Purim begins at sundown, today 2 March 2026 for those who follow the calendar published by Google, which most Jewish people go by. I call Purim “Biblical” because the entire Book of Esther is in the Bible. Even though God is not mentioned directly in the Book of Esther, Queen Esther’s relationship with King Ahasuerus (i.e., Xerxes) reveals much about the mysterious union of the Righteous Bride of Christ and her Beloved Most Holy King.
The world just witnessed an USA-Israel offensive against Iran (Ancient Persia) on the first day of Purim on the Essene Calendar. Every Persian person I have met are so wonderful, lovely and kind. However, like most nations in our modern world, including the U.S., most of Iran’s leadership is/was evil, cruel, and corrupt. Yesterday, Iran state media confirmed the death of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. While the U.S. and Israel targeted the Iranian regime’s leadership, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu indicated that it is up to the Iranian people to change their government. In Trump’s video address, Trump called on Iranians to “take over your government” once the strike concludes, saying “the hour of your freedom is at hand.”
As most of the Iranian people celebrate their freedom in the streets, Iran’s terrorist proxies across the Middle East and Europe ready to respond. Under Khamenei, Iran expanded its regional power through the backing of terrorist proxy groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. The United States and several Western governments designate Iran as the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Iranian regime has waged a sustained campaign of violence against the United States—killing U.S. troops, targeting diplomats and civilians, and plotting attacks on American soil. The Iranian regime’s anti-American campaign began with the 1979 seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, where 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days.
We need to know history, so we don’t repeat the bad stuff. The Purim story about Queen Esther rising to save her people for “such a time as this” can be applied to the Righteous Bride of Christ in Iran and in all the nations of the world. It’s time to rise and shine! It’s time to speak up, stand for, and do whatever it takes to save humanity! The Righteous Bride of Messiah Yeshua is exercising her muscles to grow into perfectly co-laboring with Him, because the Lord is looking for faithful bridal souls that can rule and reign in oneness with Him in His Messianic Kingdom.
