In the path of the 2024 Great American Eclipse are 6 cities that are named Nineveh. Revelation Watchman 777 and Mark Allison 88 (YouTube) reveal these cities are:

[4] Nineveh, Pennsylvania.
[5] Nineveh, New York.
[6] Nineveh, Nova Scotia.
[Update: Gill Broussard used Google Earth to map out the actual locations of the towns named Nineveh in the path of totality for the 2024 April 8 Great American Eclipse. There are only two in Indiana and Ohio. I believe these two Ninevehs are witnesses to the fact that God Himself has called people in the United States to repentance just like Jonah did for Nineveh. As many people know, the Bible reveals that Nineveh was given 40 days to repent: “And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day’s walk. Then he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown” (Jon. 3:4). Jonah was one of the greatest preachers of all time due to this exceedingly great city hearing God through him; and then, repenting and being saved. The Bible tells us that the population of Nineveh was more than 120,000 (Jon. 4:11) whereas Midrash Jonah 99-100 asserts that the city covered forty square parasangs and contained 1.5 million people.
Cyril of Alexandria asked why Jonah had been sent so far away to Nineveh rather than Tyre or some other heathen city. Cyril explained because Nineveh was a veritable Sodom, which reveals the magnitude of their repentance (Patrologia Graeca 71,601).
The Book of Jonah is unique among the prophetic books of the Bible, because it doesn’t deal with Jews but sinful people of the nations (Gentiles), their genuine repentance, and their forgiveness by God. When God showed mercy toward the people of Nineveh, He was showing mercy to one of the bitterest enemies of Israel – the Assyrians. God Himself is the real hero of the Biblical Book of Jonah. The heart of the story is revealed in Jonah’s prayer: God is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abundant in mercy, abounding in steadfast love, and One who relents of disaster (Jon. 4:2).
The Jewish people believe that the Book of Jonah is not to be viewed as a minor prophet, largely due to the fact that the haftorah of Jonah is read the afternoon of their most sacred day – the Day of Atonement. This basically emphasizes God is a God of all mankind, it is impossible to flee from His Presence, and He forgives all who turn to Him with sincerity.
Nineveh was a city on the east bank of the Tigris in ancient Assyria. It was across the river from the modern city of Mosul, Iraq. Ninevites were the ancestors of the Parthians, which was a major political and cultural power in ancient Iran from 247 BC to 224 AD. (It’s significant that modern-day Iran is a major focus in our day). The Parthian Empire was located on the Silk Road trade route between the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean and the Han Dynasty of China.
As most everyone knows, Jonah was swallowed by a big fish. He spent three days and three nights in darkness, which was a prophetic foreshadow of Messiah Yeshua’s own death, burial, and resurrection. Yeshua even declares this: “Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, ‘Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.’ 39 But He answered and said to them, ‘An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet; 40 for just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea monster for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights” (Matthew 12:38-40 NASB). NOTE: This pattern will be repeated in our day.
Some believe that there was a total solar eclipse just before Jonah warned Nineveh to repent. This could be true. I just haven’t found the evidence for it. However, Daniel Taylor reveals that the 2024 Great American Eclipse that goes through 6 cities called Nineveh happens right above the constellation of Cetus, the whale. Significantly, a popular etymology of the name “Nineveh” is the “place of the fish.” The cuneiform pictogram for Nineveh is an enclosure with a fish inside. (jstor.org).
On 8 April 2024, the ALEF-TAV triad of eclipses will be complete. Please refer to https://sapphirethroneministries.wordpress.com/2024/02/01/alef-tav-great-american-eclipses/. ALEF is the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and TAV is the last. ALEF-TAV (תא) is also one of Messiah Yeshua’s (Jesus Christ’s) Names. The ancient Hebrew pictograph for TAV is an “X,” which carries the meanings of an end of something. Notice that there are three “X”s on the map of the ALEF-TAV Eclipses. Biblically, three means something is complete. I believe that these ALEF-TAV Eclipses are a last call… a final and complete TAV warning for the United States of America and the world to repent before destruction brings a new ALEF beginning.
Right now, in general, the whole world can be classified as an evil and adulterous generation. Yet, our compassionate, merciful, and loving God is pleading with our generation to repent and turn from our wicked ways before one of the greatest cataclysms the world has ever seen will be released (Matt. 24:21). We have a choice to repent or perish. Nineveh in Jonah’s day chose to repent and be saved. King David went so far as to ask the Lord to clear him from hidden and unconscious faults (Psa. 19:12). This is wisdom in this hour.
“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth” (Hosea 6:1-3).
