ARE YOU READY TO ROCK-N-ROLL?

This morning, as I awoke, I heard “Are you ready to rock-n-roll?” It made me catch my breath, because I knew that the Lord was not talking about a particular type of music.
Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets) starts at sundown. One of its names is Yom HaKeseh – “The Day of the Hiding” or “The Hidden Day.” The term keseh is derived from the Hebrew root word kacah, which means to conceal, to cover, or to hide. Every day during the month of Elul, a trumpet is blown to warn everyone to turn back to God – teshuvah – except on the 30th day, which is the day that precedes Yom Teruah. Today is the 30th day of Elul. Today, the trumpet is silent, because much of what goes on with Yom Teruah is concealed in mystery. For example, the Feast of Trumpets is supposed to begin on the new moon. Psalms 81:3 tells us: “Sound the shofar on the new moon in concealment of the day of our festival.”
Notice how I am speaking about Yom Teruah, not Rosh HaShana. Rosh HaShana on Tishrei 1 – the first day of the seventh month – is a Babylonian construct. God’s people are told to come out of (flee) Babylon, which means those who want to live their lives according to the plumbline of the Scripture will come out of Rosh HaShana to celebrate Yom Teruah. Some say that the trumpet is not blown on the 30th of Elul to not give Satan – the accuser – notice about the arrival of Yom Teruah whose other name is Yom HaDin – The Day of Judgment. Satan did not understand the plan of the Cross, or he would not have promoted Christ’s crucifixion. The same goes today. Satan does not understand that the crucifying circumstances in our day are meant to fully crucify His people’s flesh, so that the Door to their Flesh can be closed for the purpose of the greatest oneness of all – the highest oneness with our Heavenly Father.
The dead in Christ rise first. Most of us have been taught that “the dead” are those people who have died and gone to heaven, but that is not what the Lord told me. “The dead” in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is referring to those who have completely died to their carnal nature, or in other words completely died to their flesh. In the first century, “the last trump” referred to a particular day – the day of the blowing of the trumpet (shofar) – Yom Teruah. Therefore, the resurrection of the dead “at the last trump” spoken of 1 Corinthians 15:52 is actually talking about those who have closed their Door of the Flesh through completely dying to the flesh, so they can arise and shine in their transformation from glory to glory (2 Cor. 3:18).
Yeshua says in Matthew 24:36 that “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” Consider that this statement is an idiom for the Feast of Trumpets, because it is the only day of the entire year that’s referred to as the Hidden Day, or the day that no man knew.
Which brings us back to His question: Are you ready to rock-n-roll? The Last Trump is sounded at the beginning of Yom Teruah, which is sundown tonight. This causes God to sit in court and all of mankind passes before Him to be judged as wholly righteous, as wholly wicked, or as somewhere in between. The wholly righteous will be the ones protected when the judgments of God hit, like meteors, earthquakes, volcanoes, flooding, and the earth reeling like a drunkard (Isa. 24:20). The wholly wicked will face the wrath of God. Those in the valley of decision between being wholly righteous and wholly wicked will be shaken with the purpose of only His kingdom remaining in you (Heb. 12:25-28). Please use God’s righteousness judgments to get rid of all your works of the flesh through only doing the perfect will of the Heavenly Father.
Psalms 27:5 is read every day during the 40 days of repentance – 30 days of Elul, plus the 10 days that are the High Holy Days from Yom Teruah to Yom Kippur. Let us embrace this promise: “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His Tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock” (Psalms 27:5). Remember, God always responds to sincere seeking hearts.
On Yom Teruah, the gates of heaven are understood to be opened, so the righteous may enter into a greater oneness relationship with the Father (Isa. 26:2; Psalms 118:19-20). May this be true for you and yours.
