As I was spending some quality time with Abba – our wonderful Heavenly Father – I asked Him what was on His mind. In a flash, I saw the beauty of creation. I saw nature in all its glory. I saw people being good to each other. A mother and a father loving on a child. A child loving on their parents. Siblings laughing and getting along. A stranger helping the elderly. Someone laying down their own life for another. Et cetera… Et cetera… Et cetera…
In this time of great tumult, Father showed me a glimpse of His mind and what He is focused on – the good things. I know this may be a reminder, but it is also a major key to getting through these difficult days.
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8-9 NKJV).
Give em heaven!!!
