“It’s interesting that in the Wilderness Tabernacle, there is a curtain that marks the boundaries of God’s Sanctuary. Yer-ee-aw is the Hebrew word for “curtain,” and it speaks of a tremulous (trembling) hanging or a hanging of the fear of the Lord. Of note, the Ancient Hebrew Word Picture for the word “curtain—Yer-ee-aw—communicates that the curtain of God’s Dwelling Place represents the highest and most important work to be done is the purification work in a person’s soul. When we dig a little deeper, we see that the primitive root to yer-ee-aw is the Hebrew word yaw-rah’, which means to be broken up (with any violent action). Behold [HEY!], the highest and most important work in the purification of one’s soul requires a person to be broken.”
