The Lord’s Feast of Trumpets has many aspects to it. One extremely important facet is the Day of Judgment (Yom HaDin). The Feast of Trumpets is a time of divine judgment and forgiveness. God’s people should always embrace His righteous judgments: “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether” (Psalms 19:9 NASB).

It is easier to embrace His righteous judgments when we understand that “dan” is the Hebrew word for “judge.” Dan’s Ancient Hebrew Word Picture communicates that the Judge is the Door of Life – Yeshua – who has been tempted in every way that we have. “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV).

Therefore, an excellent prayer for the two days of Yom Teruah is to come into alignment with Yeshua with John 16:8 – Holy Spirit convict me and the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

Give em heaven!!!
