HEBREW LIVING™ LETTER – BET

Hebrew is a pictorial language where each letter is a picture, sometimes called a pictograph. Each letter of the Hebrew Alphabet also has at least one number associated with it.

 

In 2015, I coined a term for the 22 Hebrew letters – “Hebrew Living™ Letters" – to distinguish the reality that each Hebrew Letter is a living being inherent in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Just as the Seven Spirits of God are to the Holy Spirit, so are the Hebrew Living™ Letters to the Word of God. This secret is pointed to in one of the mysterious and hidden names of Yeshua – ALEF-TAV (ת‎א) – which represents the Lord of All Creation from ALEF (first) to TAV (last).

 

“BET is the second letter of the Hebrew Alef-bet and has a numerical value of 2. Its pictograph is a tent, a house, or a dwelling place, which symbolizes a household or family. Scripture begins with the Book of Genesis, and is named after its first word in Hebrew “bereshit,” which speaks of all of creation is a house or a “bet” in relation to God. When the Hebrew Living™ Letter “bet” is a prefix for a word, it means “in,” which suggests God’s intention of abiding within the realm of creation. It is significant that when the word for “father” (av) is combined with the word of “son” (ben), we get the Hebrew word for stone “even.” Just like the molecules in a stone are so intertwined that they appear to be one, so is the Father and the Son (both His Mature Head and Mature Body).” [From the back of the Hebrew Living™ Letter Flash Card – BET: Original art and text by Robin Main/Sapphire Throne Ministries ©]
