Mount Zion is the lot of the righteous. Scripture tells us that those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. These are the ones who are immovable, because they abide in Him. “Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous teach out their hands to iniquity” (Psalms 125:1-3 NKJV).
We need to understand that Mount Zion is the lot (land) of the righteous and the Bride of the Messiah is clothed with the righteous deeds of the saints as well as the firstfruits of His Bride – the 144000 – stand on Mount Zion with the Lamb of God:
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, ‘Write: “Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!” ’ And he said to me, ‘These are the true sayings of God’” (Revelation 19:7-9 NKJV).
“Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads … These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb” (Revelation 14:1,4 NKJV).
